Duck not eating or moving!

He seems to only eat when I hold the bowl in front of him and splash it around so I have set an alam for every 2 hours in the night to make sure he is well hydrated and got a full belly

He is the same but has not got any worse which is good I guess.

Medicine can take 48-72 hours to see improvements
The fact it’s staying the same is a good sign meds are working
Are you able to get more food in him
This is the most important part right now

If anyone wants an update, he is doing well and is still inside (his sister is missing him and not really hanging with the others, but hopefully he will be back with her very soon). He is eating his soupy feed well and even had a bit of normal food today and is loving his peas and mealworms again.
he is still not back to normal, but his antibiotics seem to be doing the trick and I just hope he continues to get better, while being in with me he has become a lot more friendly and snuggles in with me Anytime he gets a chnace (like now)

at night he try’s to get out his indoor inclosure and wants to come to me and have a snuggle (which sometimes I can’t resist )

if there is anything else going on I will update everyone! I love him so much!!

Happy to hear this update. Sounds like he's gradually improving, that's great news!

Sounds like the meds are starting to work as they should
You could bring her in for visits that way they know each other is okay

Yes, I have been doing this and they both got very exsited and wag their tales like mad dogs . She always seems happier to see him then he does her but I guess this is just because he still isn’t feeling 100%. Also he now is eating his normal food and not the soup although I offer both and he actually prefers normal

thankyou again to all of you for your fantastic advice, honestly if I hadn’t of had this amazing network of such experienced duck exsperts and owners I probably wouldn’t have my little pip anymore THANKYOU ALL!
