Duck Pecking Order

I just got new Welsh Harlequins added to my flock of 2 mallards. Both are the same age, born the week of Mother’s Day. My mallards chase around the WH with their bills open, is this normal? Thanks

Poultry hates change. Make sure the new ducks get to eat and drink and are not being over abused. What sex are all of them ?

The new WH are all hens, and the mallards look like one drake and one hen. I can’t tell for sure though, they haven’t gotten their feathers or voices yet. Thanks for the advice.

I couldn't tell you if it's going to last. But I would imagine things will settle down as everyone matures.
