Duck weird behavior

Also this isn’t strange but when I’m not looking at them every moments they’ll run away jumping and flapping XD I’m a bit worried however because they do it towards the road. They’ll also randomly jump and flap

Keep them away from the road with fencing.

We keep them I’m a run during the day, were working on the house inside of it for night. I let them out for 4-5 hours a day. When they run off I usually get further than they do and they run back

by the way do you think the smaller one will fly away? The saxony seems too heavy to fly, but the smaller one is way lighter. It will jump and flap its wings

If it has the ability to fly it may just end up flying off. Some do come home but many are lost for good. I clip my Muscovy females one wing every fall after their big molt. My drake has never even tried to fly. Where we live they would never live one day or night outside of their fencing.

The smaller one is currently molting… idk when they Should be clipped, if they’re (the feathers) are still too small or if it’s ok

Thanks! They haven’t done the fighting thing in a while, I think they’ve stopped for now
