Duck weird behavior

That is exactly what my drake does in the pool and out of the pool . It has something drakes do "Hormones". My Muscovy drake doesn't do this.

Thanks for telling me lol I thought maybe something was wrong with it. Like maybe it was trying to poop in the water and water somehow got into its vent. I did see it poop out water once after it got out of the pool… but it drinks more water than the other duck and eats less sooooo

My drake will do the same thing after mating at other times too. Nothing to worry about.

Btw today a bit ago the black duck mounted the other duck. It’s head went underwater and it started panicking

Also normal. My girls this to each other all the time. The girl being mou ted squirms and looks panicked, but it's all normal.

Sure is, first time I saw this was many years ago, and panicked and made my Muscovy drake get off the female. lol

I have done that with roosters. I HATE how aggressive it all is.
