duck with a limp

last night i fell down the stairs and broke my toe.. then i hobbled outside to put the ducks in for the night and i noticed that one of them had a limp and was having difficulty walking on it, coincidence huh? anyways what could it be, has she just twisted it and it will heal, i cant see anything sticking out of it, should i take her to the vets?

Chickens can twist or pull a muscle just as people can, and I would guess ducks can, too. I've had a couple of instances similar to yours, but the chicken was having no problem getting where it needed to go, getting enough to eat and drink, and the issue resolved on its own.
