Thalia opened up her eye!!!!!!!!!! She looks around and some of the swelling has gone down!!! The coconut oil is a miracle worker! I've been using that on her eye twice a day for 3 days, and I've been giving it to her straight in the mouth too. It also got rid of the other chick's pasty but with just 1 application! I'm still going to continue the saline and oil until her eye looks completely normal.

I have actually considered that, but it takes a lot of time away from home. I want to be an author, because I really enjoy writing, and being thorough and meticulous about the things I write about. I also enjoy making things - anything, and finding solutions to problems and sharing my ideas. I havn't forgot about the article contest, I've been thinking about that for a while. I was thinking Instead of just writing about curing bumble foot, I was thinking maybe Kathy would help me write about curing the most common illnesses and defects for poultry.
