Duck with Swollen Ankle

All of your pictures are very good and show very clearly exactly where the problem is. What does the swelling feel like? Does it feel hard, soft, or does it feel like fluid?

It is firm but still a little squishy. Feels to me like pus from what I've seen come out of bumbles. Definitely not liquid. Also can't tell if the heat on the swelling is coming from infection or just from having her foot tucked in under her. It's in the 80's here this week anyway.

Can you take a video of her trying to walk, upload it to YouTube or Vimeo, then copy/paste the link here?

She is not really walking anymore - just starting yesterday night. Which is why I al now worried about her having sprained her other leg (any way to know for sure?) She uses her wings to get along. Let me see if I can get her to move by nudging her along. Don't want to stress her too much.

I am try to get an idea of it it's both legs bothering her or just one. Usually, if it's just one leg they will stand on their good leg and just rest the bad leg.

That's what she was doing up until yesterday night. No clue what changed, but today she sits on my lap without even trying to do - something none of my ducks will do, though they are pretty tame.

A calcium deficiency can cause this, so it might be worth trying to give her some calcium before you address the swelling in the foot. Do you have a Tractor Supply near you? If so, you could get some calcium gluconate and give that orally at 0.2 ml per pound of body weight.
