duckling ate nose piercing

I have recently bought two ducklings, ive had them for a week now and tonight after bath time (i dried them off 100 percent) i had them out on some towels and was laying close, then one of them nibbled my face and then my nose and pulled my nose piercing out. Its a 20 gauge L shaped staineless steal, hypoallergenic piercing with a white stone. I am low-key freaking out that it will kill him. I tried to give him some peanut butter to help coat it to help pass which i read online but the post didnt say what kind of bird exactly. Im hoping if it doesnt pass it will hang out in his gizzard and help him grind up food when hes older. Any help is welcome!

I've reached out to an exotic vet they told me to watch and check his poop for the next two days to see if he passes it. If not he needs to go in to get xrayed
