I got some new ducks from Craigslist today!! I got a Buff hen and a Campbell hen. They are both 1 years old and laying. The Buff is molting that's why she doesn't look good. She also is really small. Any ideas how to restore her normally weight?
But they are loud!

my ducks hatched 6/1,2,3 so they are approx 6 weeks old, what protein should i be feeding them?
my current all flock starter is 22% and says for ducks up to 4 weeks old
I kept mine on chick starter (non medicated) with niacin added until they were 8 weeks old. Then I started changing them over to Purina flock crumbles since they were with my adults. I was trying not to have to have 2 different feeds. They have done fine.

Good luck!

Pretty! Yes hens are VERY loud! I have 7 and when I put them up at night with their feed it is deafening!!!

I have 2 crested Cayugas we call one Tara and one Dactle. When you look at them from the side they look just like a Taradactle dinosaur  (sp?). LOL
lol! Pterodactyl but no worries cute names for them!!!!
