they said a lotLiz.... Did the penguins say "goodbye, and thanks for all the fish"?
Oh wait... That was the dolphins. Same difference...
they said a lot
some were still in denial and trying to repopulate
poor things needed some hen-saddles really badWhat a way to go, eh?
I thought "they" said it would warm it! What is a guy to do? I was going to Walmart to buy as much of that stuff as I could afford. I thought I could have gotten an extra large can or 2 small ones...
Now you tell me it is worthless to do....
Never be ashamed of loving something, especially something as cute as baby ducklings! One of our ducklings was a runt so she stayed in the house in the brooder a lot longer than "the big ducks" and every chance he got, my husband would take her out and let her sit with him. This particular time, she decided that rather than sitting on his lap, she wanted to sit on his shoulder and stick her bill down his ear and bite his eye and eyebrow. Much more fun that way! She was a funny, spunky, persnickety lil thing who definitely had her own opinions of what she wanted. You know, I am 6' 2" and 250 pounds, with a lot of muscle. And you should see me with my new ducklings every year! It must look pretty funny to see a big dumb old guy like me, adoring these gentle little creatures! So far, I have gotten more babies every year, for the past four years. My problem is that they grow TOO FAST! I am building a brand new duck enclosure, much more professional than where they have lived. When it is finished, I will post photos. Thanks to you all for sharing all this goodness! Gil![]()

Tony. U always make me LAUGH!!You would get warmer if you were directly under the hole Ralphie since you would be bombarded directly by the cosmic rays that weren't being filtered (maybe you would become a super hero). But energy would just as easily pass out through the hole and overall the earth would cool. If you want to help with global warming, do what I do. Only buy coffee or lemonade from places that serve it in styrofoam or polystyrene cups, then save them (preferably across the dash of your car). Then at the end of the week put them in some kind of barrier (old tires are excellent for this), douse them with about 5 gallons of gasoline and light them up. This is a good way to keep both mosquitoes and neighbors away as well.
