My duck (Harmony the CO) is getting.... RED feathers! They are literally red, like natural red hair colored. Absolutely gorgeous girl! I'll post pictures tomorrow, if I get a few comments on my thread for her, because if no one comments, I don't know if y'all are still interested!

Please post pictures! Would love to see it!!!!

Yes, I am very unhappy with Ideal. When I ordered, I stated that I didn't want any crested. I ordered 1 Pekin, 2 Cayuga and 2 Blue Swedish. You see what I got. The people at Ideal are the experts they should have known that they were not giving me what I ordered. Out of 5, 3 are crested (not happy!), the Blue Swedish are something, I'm not sure what, and the Pekin is different! She isn't pure white, she has a little cream color in her and she is significantly bigger than my adult Pekins and she's only 8 weeks old, I wonder WHAT she is.

So, I will never order from Ideal again. I wrote them an email and let them know about it and that I didn't want the ducks replaced as I was/am already attached to these girls. I haven't even received a response in return. If this is how they treat people, I don't see how they have stayed in business!!! And I even drove 1 hour each way in the driving rain to get the girls. I guess I should be happy that they are all girls! At least they got something right!!

I'll keep them but it wasn't a good experience for my first time ordering and getting ducks. My first ducks were given to me by my nephew.

Anyone have any idea what the ones that are supposed to be Blue Swedish are? Black Swedish? Splash? What?? This is a picture of one of the black ones, you can see the white patch on her chest.
The next picture is of all 5. You can really see their black/white chests and this is the Pekin. You can barely see that she isn't white. The Cayuga are the two crested ones. And the Pekin is crested as well.

I can't believe these girls are only 8 weeks old. I picked them up on March 9th they were SUPPOSED to be 1 day old. Maybe that isn't correct as well...who knows! But they are part of our family now. You live and learn!

Sure look like my black/splash Swedish. Except yours have solid black bills. Mine were never that solid black, so

ETA - does the white one have any black on it at all? My mostly white one has black on his rump only. But he's Swedish too.

No, the Pekin duckling (although she looks grown!) is all cream. Her bill is very light in color but she looks like a pekin, but just large. Both of the Swedish have the white spots on their chests. One has more white than the other. Oh well!!
