15 days.....

Yup duckling cuteness is incredibly concentrated. SUPER cute

, but they grow up SO fast.

My babies hit 2 months yesterday and one is already molting out of her teen feathers into her adult feathers. Enjoy every second of duckling-dom!!!!

See here - this is what yours will look like soon: They have even more feathers now; this was taken a couple days ago. As you can see, black down is on the back half. I was surprised, but I'm sure she'll look completely normal when she grows up! The tail feathers are brown. Do you know why the bills on yours are grey but mine are whatever that color is - orangish, I guess? So cute and fuzzy! How old are they now?

You welsh is probably a boy. Because he has a yellow/orange bill and he's getting older.

I hope not! I don't know if I can keep males, but I may have to; the one in the picture is technically my little sisters, and she wouldn't give her/him (I'll call it a her now; I like to be hopeful

) for the world! The other WH, Quackers, has the same bill color and is now my favorite duck, so I would keep that one, too. The one in the picture was not sexed, but Quackers was and should be a female. I'm going to pray they are females ... and research to see if anyone has ever had a WH female with an orange bill at this age!
Does it matter that both of their bills had a stripe but were not solid grey when I first got them?

Dark bills=female
light pinkish, yellowish= male
But by now you can't tell... I've never seen a female welsh with a yellow bill but I'll pray yours is a girl!!!!!!!!

I think my welsh (on the left) is a girl, she's starting to quack but she doesn't have a dark bill. It's mostly yellow... I hope she's a she!

YES!!! Never makes a huge mess or poops a lot, and luvs birb snuggles.
