Seven of my eggs are hatching. One baby couldn't pip, so I followed instructions and very carefully made a small hole, then found her shrink-wrapped. I made the hole bigger and am keeping her wet, but she started helping and now I'm afraid the hole is too big because there are visible veins? The veins are brown. Video to follow.

Three babies out and peepy. Two struggling, two more too early to tell. The one I helped pip seems too weak to get farther but I'm going to give her more time in case she's still absorbing yolk.

What are you using to keep the membrane moist? Is she still making yawning and chewing motions? Any visible veins at this point?

It looks like you're hatching under a heat lamp?

Under a lamp, yes. In a homemade incubator. Using a spray bottle.
