I agree with your assessment, Miss Lydia. The pekins need to feather out more before deciding on their genders. Might see the drake curl before the raspy voice of the males or loud quack of the females emerge.

Unfortunately there is no way to tell for another couple weeks. You will notice females voices changing when the males are still peeping.
