Sorry to quote you but too much sugar is not good for Ducklings. A soupy mix of plain feed. It's either going to eat or sadly it won't survive.

Yes I agree. It’s like most things, in moderation. I’ve put a little honey in the soupy feed and had luck getting them to eat. And just while they are puny.

I think she means only a tiny amount like they say when ducklings arrive from hatchery. Just to get them started.

I haven't separated her yet, so I don't know if she's pooping. I've never seen her poop, and never seen her eat or drink on her own. She needs me to hand feed her or hold the food/water dish up at her neck height. I'm going to make her her own brooder when I get home.
