Duckling started to hatch but stopped? Help ;-;

The duckling started to hatch late last night at about 10:30. It’s been 26 hours and he hasn’t made anymore progress or even changed positions. He is still alive. Should I help him out? He looks like he might be stuck. He was cracked REALLY bad early in the incubation by my goose (tip: don’t let a goose try to hatch duck eggs. I had to take the eggs away and put them in my incubator. ). I patched the crack up with melted beeswax and he made it all the way up til now. So, should I assist?

Are you able to get some pictures? Waterfowl can be really slow to hatch but are you seeing just a pip or was he trying to zip and got stuck and stopped?

He was trying to zip, I helped him out a bit and then went to bed. When I woke up this morning g he was hatched. He’s doing really good now!
