One of our duckling externally pipped early this AM. It was chirping and attempting to come out around 9:15 am, but we came home from church and he hasn't chirped or moved since.
Is he shrink wrapped?
Do I need to assist at this point?

His little beak is out of the shell just past his egg tooth, so I think he can breath just fine.
Help!

Update:
Baby was not alive 😓 I still have 1 egg I candled and showed movement....I think internally pipped...am I safe to go ahead and remove dead baby?

Yes, you can remove the dead one.

Do you have any eggs that already hatched, or will you be left with one duckling?
I will be left with 1 duckling. We started with 5, and 2 were viable up until hatch day...now just 1.
Should I make a safety hole for it?
Recandle?

Once it has internally pipped you could make a safety hole. If the last duckling hatches successfully, you'll need to get him a friend.
Absolutely. I have mom and dad in the coop...but mama is not good with sitting.
How can I be completely sure baby internally pipped?
