Is that a blue Swedish? I have never had a Swedish go bloody or even care where they drop their eggs.

No, she’s a call duck!
I’ve only seen 3 babies so far, not sure if more than that have hatched.

I did have a black Swedish that hatched 2 sets for me, a few years ago. She was a great momma, other than her knack for creating drakes instead of hens. Lol

I had to put liquid bandage on the back of queens neck. Its for dogs but it had a nasty taste and keeps the wound covered while still being able to play in the water.... you might want to try that as well. Might work, did for queen

Thanks for the info. I had so much trouble with the drake he is going to be rehomed. Finally convinced the wife.
