Dang, I sure wish you where close to me, I would take him. Why are you rehoming him?

He over mates our Pekin hen. He is okay with the other three hens. Our runner drake is now king of the flock.

Im seriously about to buy a puppy play pen for the ducklings. They do just fine out by themselves (supervised by me of course!), but I turn around for 2 seconds and here Fabio comes over trying to mate with them! So here I am chasing him off while he’s holding on to Fuzzy (Pekin duckling). He hasn’t been successful so far, but one day I’m worried I won’t be fast enough and he will hurt them. Sooo puppy play pen it is!

20 ducklings is the total sum, out of 56 eggs.
That's about a 40 percent hatch rate, but really don't have enough drakes.
4 greys including 1 with an odd white patch on its back.
1 blue bibbed
15 whites

Yeah. I got rid of the grey, he was too big. I finally got a hatch of mostly girls this fall and it turns out to be a problem.
True. If I had a 90 percent hatch rate, people would pass out when they walked through the door, from the smell of it.

Apparently the person who bought a dozen of my hatching eggs says he doesn't mind there is only a 40 percent hatch rate, when I reminded him. He says he has way too many eggs as it is and gets excited when they are infertile. I'm starting to relate.
