Duckling Thread!

Quick (and possibly silly) question for you guys. I have some ducklings, 2-3 weeks old, and all but one look to be blue swedish crosses (either with a pekin or khaki campbell). If this duckling came out completely yellow, is it possible that it's anything besides full pekin? I'm kind of surprised, considering my pekin female wants nothing to do with the boys, ever. This little guy sticks out like a sore thumb. Not only is he the only yellow one, but he's massive too :lau

❤❤❤❤❤ SO CUTE!!!!! I've been incubating eggs, they were supposed to hatch sunday. I don't know what went wrong, but I know on day 20 they were fine. Sadly, NONE HATCHED! I have no idea what I did wrong!
I feel your pain. I started with 6 and I'm down only two left. They looked to be doing good and then they just didn't make it. I can only hope that the other two will hatch in two days :fl

That's a beeutiful pekin.... I think:gig

One the last three days of incubating ducks, your not supposed to candle the eggs right? I have one that is really dark and the other one is lighter. I want to look at them so bad.
I candle when moving the eggs into lockdown, then they’re untouched until they either need help or have hatched and are ready to move to the brooder.
