Duckling Thread!

I'm going to give cross-eyed boomerang-wing a warm bath now. She has still not fluffed up; and still has a LOT of hard chunks of egg-residue all over her body. I also want to find out of that hard weird looking stuff around her cloaca is just debree/gunk or a more serious issue. I still haven't seen her poo yet; even if it is gunk it might prevent that. We will see. She will probably be more comfortable without all the egg-gunk sticking to her anyway. And number 3 from the B-nest is born; blue again probably. And 3 from the C-nest on their way; 1 from the B-nest; still none from the D-nest :'( But we are only!! on day 28!! So much can still happen. :)

Not duck related, but what is the background in your light box made out of?

The lightbox. It came with multiple coloured backdrops; but all synthetic AND folded.. I havent found the time(am too lazy) to make it wet and let them dry to get the folds out.. so I'm using this lightbox without light now solely to have some neutral background. The darker ones; I've thrown a dark-blue towel in because they kept slipping on the lightbox it's basic white plastic frabric; and I had an magic revelation that their poop miiiight ruin the lightbox as an whole without something of an backdrop.. :p

The green ones are just a fabricated box of wood with no ceiling and sheets of hard plastic from the home-depot/building stuff store that I have no clue off what people use them for normally. They came in more colours; but this was the colour that least represented a colour in ducks. I wanted to make holes in it for studio lights; but just directing it from the sun prevented shadow too (and was more lazy) :p

I found an un-cropped one; but I don't have one that shows the lenght of the box. Due to all the front-prespective the lenght is lost. But I kept it extra long since ducks are skittish and stand more still when they feel they have no way of an exit =/ So it is a bit of a tunnel. The base is longer then it is high. Hight is 1 meter (39 inch) and it is 1.50 long ( 56 inch) an 50 cm (17,5 inch) wide.

I also have a soapmaking business, and I have a small one to take photos of my products, but the backgrounds get so wrinkly, even when I iron them! It would be easier if I didn’t have to use white.

Such good duckies! It’s hard for me to get a non-blurry picture of mine, unless they are sleeping.

Then this weird plastic stuff might do. Atleast soap has no nails that makes scratches on it and poop on it :') I sell small objects too; mainly vintage stuff. Had bought some old vintage wallpaper and slapped that on 10 small panels; and that works too. Some plants, or straw, or fake whiskey next to it made out of red bull + coke.. or whatever props made the "right feel"; For the more detailed pictures on a white background I just use some old white tablecloth from plastic.
This lightbox I bought just does not do the trick then just make it yourself from scratch. And that costs 60 dollars then... that stupid light-box cube..

Don't think for every picture I don't have 600 ones in the trashbin.. lol :p Short shutterfold; and for the rest pray that you managed to get 1 picture they look decent in! And prepare that the only one they look kinda decent in they managed to poop on their own feet :')
