duckling under going surgery. *sad update*

hey guys i am just looking for a couple prays this morning. i rescued a pekin duckling and he/she is about 4 weeks old. he has a fracture of his leg and it re positioned itself 90 degrees from where it should be. i found a vet that was willing to do the surgery for free but there is a 50 percent chance he won't even make it through the anestesia. so i am just looking for a couple prays before he goes under today. thanks guys...

just herd back from the vet and..... HE DID WONDERFUL! no complications with anestesia!!! he was able to cut the leg open. go in and break the bones and place them to where they should be. he currently has a temporary pin inside and a soft cast on the outside. he woke up from the surgery and he is currently running around eating drinking and chirping. the best news is that his leg is completeley straight and is having no problems walking on it! i am so thrilled! and so thankful that there are kinda nd compasionate vets out there who are willing to do this stuff for free. it really is unbelieveable!! thank you to all who prayed for him. IT WORKED

Awww, I'm so glad he did all right! It's so sweet that a vet offered to do the surgery for free. How wonderful. May his recovery go smoothly!
