Picked up two fawn and white Indian runner ducklings three days ago. One of the ducklings has a patch of feathers missing/matted on the right side of her head about the size of a penny in circumference.
She was the smallest in the brooder of about 15 others when I picked her and one other up from the feed store.
She seems to be eating drinking fine, her energy is good. Stools seem normal too.
Tried to clean the area with warm water thinking it was just matted feathers but that didn't help. Also have been changing their water very frequently as well as their bedding.
Any ideas as to what this is?!?
