Duckling with foot problems

Ok thanks he is Pretty much the same at the moment sometimes he goes crazy and run around after me! So cute (he is imprinted) the is stops and lies down for a few seconds is that ok?

I forgot the food already has niacin in it can I overdoes on niacin?

Hellllppppppp I though my duckling was on the mend because he doesn't seem to lie down as much but there is a bulge on the side of the leg that turns in the most! It is on the inside and is like a hard string. But the duckling seems better he can walk fine and everything g is it a slipped tendon? It doesn't move also he was standing up when I felt it if it makes a difference. I am really worried!! Heeelllllpppp meeeee

Post some pics please. I'm pretty sure if it's a slipped tendon they can't walk, but We need to see what your talking about.

Here it is, it is his right leg on the inside.

Sorry his left. Under closer inspection he has the hard stringy thing on both legs and so does the other duckling so I a. Starting to think it is just normal none but I have never had duckd before so I wouldn't know what is the lump though? Do the legs look normal to you? Sorry I am really panicking!

I think what your seeing is normal and your just a new mama and worrying so much your not enjoying the little ones

. That looks normal to me. of course I don't have the same view as you can you hold the little one and get a close up of what your talking about. But that duckling sure looks healthy.

Yeah, like Miss Lydia said I think it's just a normal hock you are seeing. The bone kind of sticks out a bit to the side in that area. If the tendon was slipped out of place the duckling wouldn't be able to use that leg at all.

Ok thank you guys so much yes he has full use of the leg even though I am worrying I most certainly are enjoying them I love watching them swim!! Why does one leg look slightly different to the other? You guys have Been such a great help!
