Made the rubberband/straw leg brace, but it seems like it's keeping his legs more behind him rather than him being able to get them under him. Not sure whether to put it back on or to try to come up with some modified version of it.

    Help!

Sounds like you'll just have to keep working till you get it as close to right as you can. Hopefully you will.

    Hey, ya'll! Here's some information...

    1. First we let the duckling swim for about 15 minutes in a sink or tub.

    2. Then we put it in the sling for an 1 hour.

    3. Finally, we soaked the foot in Epson salt for about another 20-30 minutes in a mug.

    I hope that helps.:)

Very much! I will try this routine. Just massaged both his feet and opened them up eventually. I can't find a way to get his feet to STAY open or flat though. Bandaging them is proving to be near impossible. Some inflamed knuckles and joints for sure. Hopefully doing all this will help. There's no doubt he WANTS to walk. He's trying so hard.

Have you been using some Epsom salt wraps or soaks? It's very good for inflammation and being tiny a coffee cup or wraps with soft wash cloth might help some too.
With one so tiny I'd use maybe a tablespoon of ES to a cup of warm water soak or wrap then massage. I wish you could do shoes that might help a lot. Keeping the lil feet flat and in right place.

I'll try buying some epsom salt. And hopefully I can make some adjustments to get his little feet at least semi flat/open. We're not giving up!
