Ducklings leg is weird. Can’t walk

:welcome

Here's a link to the duck forum in case you need it: Ducks I would think the sooner you can get it straightened out (if possible), the better. Hopefully the duck experts can help you out.

Best wishes!
Thank you! I’ll post it again there if nothing has changed in a while, I posted it on the emergency one too. Thanks again!

I’m new to the concept, I’ve never tried it before on other ducklings, I just don’t know if it’s leg is because of niacin deficiency, considering it being less than a day old, and hatching like that. I still want to give it at least a day and see if it straightens out, since I just put it in the brooder. I will try it if it’s still crooked in a while. Thank you!
I would go ahead and start niacin now.
I don't have ducks but I do know that all species can be born with vitamin and mineral deficiencies. If the biological mother had a deficiency, she could pass that on to the embryo.

Okay I will do that. I went to the feed store and didn’t see anything, but I ordered brewers yeast and I got electrolyte supplements for its water. Does brewers yeast contain niacin or should I buy it separately?

Welcome to BYC ! If it is a birth defect there is nothing you can do . Also the photos you posted are not of the leg . You might try letting the ducklings legs go down between your fingers so one can see or taking pictures with it on it's side or from the bottom .
I’m unable to get a picture like that, as the leg is practically stuck in that position. But thank you!
