The first time I ordered from metzer I only got 2 and the second time I got 4. They do small orders but there’s a small order fee if you get less than 10. I think it’s around $40 on top of the ducks and “free shipping”

Which breed should I get one of? I think I'll start with 5 ducks. So two of two breeds and one of one breed.

Oh man that’s a hard decision. Totally up to you but if you’re looking for opinions I would do 1 khaki.

Because you can get khakis anywhere. You’re paying a lot of money to have them shipped to you so I would go for the other 2 that you can’t just go pick up at TSC.

I was wondering because metzer is in Memphis and I thought that might be too far. But you're farther than me! They all arrived alive right?

They’re in California too. All of mine have come from CA but I have heard that TN is faster no matter where you live, hence why they built the TN hatchery. Something to do with being near a USPS hub or something like that.

My first shipment arrived well it seemed. But they both sadly died within 24 hours (they ended up being at the post office an extra day compared to my other orders, I’m sure that’s why) Metzer quickly sent 2 replacements. Replacements arrived well and they’re now 5 months old. My second order of 4 arrived well and are 3 months old now.
