I have a lot of ducks and don't know much about ducks what is there to know about ducks? Its dark out and I can still hear ducks quacking what are they talking about ?
I like the grey dappled one, what kind is it do you know? I have 7 ducks and I always know what they are talking about, how to get me to do something for them....

I have runners and hookbills and calls. They talk all the time, and not always to me. They do call when they see me for food or water. Sometimes they have conversations among themselves about the stuff they are eating, or whether someone is taking more than his share of bathtime.

Sometimes they scold the squirrels who are running around like mad now that it's squirrel mating season. If one set of ducks is out they walk around to all the other duck cages and trashtalk them. We're out and you're not. Ha, ha.

Sometimes they are just re-establishing the pecking order.

They don't all go sleep at night like the chickens do, so there are occasional conversations all night long. Also, they complain about the deer and armadillos and opossums digging around the cages at night, and the hawks and vultures in the sky during the day, and the dogs and coyotes barking in the distance, and the neighbor running his chainsaw, and somebody down the road revving his motor. I don't know what they expect me to do about any of that, so I just say, thanks for letting me know.

Mine were heckling the chickens this weekend because I was catching chicks with nets... ha ha the humans are chasing you...not us...
