Ducks eat birds?

My free range pekin just attacked, killed, then ate a small bird in our yard. Is this normal behavior? Do I need to be concerned?

Mine will do this. They also like mice.

Ok interesting I've never seen this from any of them before. She gobbled it down like nothing.
