Duck's leg wobbling

How many are you giving the B Complex too? I think these syringes are what diabetics use so maybe try a pharmacy. I have seen member use mealworms with the B complex over and their ducks scarfed them down.
Thank you, that's helpful. I want to avoid wasting the B complex if possible. They really don't like the taste.

I don't blame you, putting it into the water isn't very good because they waste so much of their water. And it also dilutes it.

You can also mix Nutritional yeast into their feed. 1 Tab per cup of feed. If they already have shaky legs though the b complex works better.
I have to walk my ducks into their coops to catch them to give meds. all but my Muscovy drakes he's my big baby.

I have been doing that as well, but they seem to eat the feed and leave the yeast flakes. I just switched them to a feed with 45mg/lb of niacin in the hopes that they won't need the yeast.

My ducks love the Nutritional yeast
Really? That's interesting. I've tried two different brands of nutritional yeast and they didn't care for either of them. My ducks were hatched on a city farm with no pasture. I feel like when I bought them and brought them to the country they found they preferred foraging in the grass rather than eating duck feed and that might have caused the niacin deficiency. I dunno. 🤷‍♀️

It may have but hopefully what you are doing now will get them turned around.
I started my 7-week-old Indian Runners off on Nutritional yeast sprinkled over their feed and mixed in. They eat like troopers I still put Nutritional yeast over my adult ducks and chickens feed and they just gobble it all down.
My birds get the liquid B complex if I see a start of niacin def when they are young But I haven't ever had any show signs of Niacin def. My Runner ducklings are getting the NY over their feed .
Hopefully with yours changing their feed and giving them the LiquidB will turn yours around pretty quick.

I was finally able to give my ducks the right amount of liquid B complex tonight. It was fairly easy once I got 1ml syringes....which took longer than expected to get here. I could only get the syringes online since it's the policy of my vet and the pharmacies to not sell syringes without a prescription.

Anyway, thank you all for the help. Looking forward to seeing improvement in my duckies.

Never heard of that before. I ordered the 1 ml syringes online too and just figured they could be bought over the counter.
But anyway sure hope you see improvements pretty quickly. Good work getting the full amount into them.
Look forward to updates.
