Are these dumped pets or some kind of mallard ? Very beautiful. Came right up to me looking for food Anyone know the breed ?

You can never really know if they are dumped pets or not for sure, a lot of wild ducks will get very close to you if they are used to getting fed by random people. In terms of breed I don’t know for sure hopefully someone with more breed experience will chime in.

They look a bit like american black ducks, maybe with some domestic mallard ancestry. I would treat them as wild.
