ducks/wire

Where do you live that water is precious? I pour water in for my ducks, they splash it everywhere. Goes back into the ground, filters itself and back down to the watertable, to be pumped back up again!

makes sense to me. but i dont think its all that simple of a process. im not for sure though. but other than air. water is the most precious of all. regardless of where you live.

im understanding most have negative opinions of my layin on wire question....what about raising for meat, on wire? we only talking about 6-8 wks, i believe. is this doable?

im interested in the book that was mentioned. perhaps i'll hit up amazon and see what kinda price is on the book. im not that into ducks to spend alot on a book about them. but we''ll see.

im thinkin of letting the laying duck hens free range with the chickens. but not allow them access to the fowls water. or to their feed. nothing but a hog is greedier than a duck if i remeber clearly. and those were muscovies.

I know someone on here that raises his Call ducks, and Mandarins on wire. Seems to work
