Ducks with special Needs

Pics

up date on chester here he is controlling the food dish and when it is pea time he jumps in the pool and I throw the peas in the water and he dives for them he does what ducks do best. this way he dose not have to compete with the other ducks. he is so smart I think he is walking better and he feels a lot safer there is always a duck around when the others go for a walk.
Charlie always keeps a careful eye out for him. even he looks better since he has been with me.

I have a mallard that hatched last year with irregular bone structure in her left leg. From her 'knee' to her webs her leg is flat like a foot. I'll post a picture later. But she is doing good I have to build her a special coop soon because she doesn't get along with the other mallards very well.

So it looks like we will be moving Dandelion in the house with us.........Our drake and the other ducks are picking on her and she has started to have bad seizures............So ducky diapers here we come

Thank you........I think she will be happy in the house with us
I am sorry to hear about Dandelion having seizures again but I think what you are doing is best. Possibly the stress of the others picking on her is making them worse so having a stress free environment will hopefully help.
