Due the 22nd? Hatch with me!

LOL They probably started to develop a day or two late.

Mine are done hatching, 16 out of 17 eggs. 17th had died early in development it looked like. Bator cleaned out, sanitized, turned back on, and now has 3 dozen eggs in it! LOL

Ok so just got home from being gone all day, and I have one cutie pie white silkie chick, and one ?????? It's in no way a silkie, it doesn't even have feathered legs! It's kind of stripey... Crazy! These were supposed to be white silkie eggs.

Still those are the only 2 who have done anything of the 8.

Yay Insiderart! Sorry about the non-silkie.. But it still has a fuzzy butt, doesn't it?

I'm currently watching a chick hatch.. It's been trying to since yesterday afternoonish. It's all zipped, it just needs to get out of the shell. I'm trying to refrain from helping it.. All we did was turn it so the egg carton didn't get in the way.

Good news! One of the brabanter eggs hatched! It's drying out in the incubator now. I'm so happy! It's technically day 23 now.. But I still have a pip that's in progress, and of course the little polish that could (well.. should.).

. And GEGChickie, yep that happens they CAN develop faster or slower, or the temp or humidty slows or speeds up growth. For instance turn out this guy is a day early.

Hey Ya'll! Kinda had a bad day today---When I got home one of my guinea chicks was dead and another really looks lethargic and might not make it. I'm bummed because I've never lost a live chick until this week. I don't know what's going on. Anyway on the upside I went to turn my Bantam egg for the last time tonight so it would be ready to hatch on Tuesday and guess what-----It was already pipped!!!!!!

Insiderart--Glad you've got some fuzzy butts even if one has some identity issues!

Bantygirl13--Yay!! It's so tiny and cute--I've never hatched any Bantams, I guess I will tommorrow though.

GEG--I know you didn't get the hatch rate you wanted but it's still pretty good. Congrats!
