Dumbest question I've ever heard

There's a video on Youtube where this lady found some cute ducklings all running around. She was concerned about finding the mother. Someone suggested she feed them and she said "they need milk" and she was dead serious, too! Someone else told her that ducklings don't drink milk, but she was insistent that they did! She said in the description that she found the mama. I sure hope she found the right mother and not just some other female.

I've also had some people tell me stories about killdeer chicks hatching on a roof. I would ask if they got the chicks down before they starved, but they would say, oh, I'm sure mom and dad were feeding them. Most people don't know about precocial chicks and that they have to find food themselves.

At the state fair this year-in the boer goat show , a man, his wife and children were admiring the goats- A breeder took his buck out of the pen and put him on the trimming stand- The father explained to the kids "Look kids!! they are going to milk the buck" Talk about die laughing!!!!

Instead of making fun of her, you should have explained it to her so she knows better in the future... She obviously didn't know that instead of milk the chicks need mom to chew up worms and spit them into the babies mouth. She probably doesn't know the time and dedication it takes people to chew the worms properly and make sure that each and every baby baby gets it's share of the meal. How will she ever learn if you don't explain it all? roll

How about chicken lips... I tell people that the chicken nuggets at their favorite fast food place are made from chicken lips...
