Dumbest Things People Have Said About Your Chickens/Eggs/Meat - Part 2 : Chicken Boogaloo.

She thought that the store makes it. She said that the chicken in the store didn't have to be slaughtered they made it themselves as the made the beef and pork and turkeys. She was so certain that we didn't just believe that just about like the egg color. Must have read that from the internet lol

 There's so much wrong there...its hard to know where to start. Like for instance....critical analysis. How in the world would a grocery store "make" the meat? A lab? Using alien technology? Where is this section contained? Has she never BEEN in a grocery store? Or been shopping? Has she never had a first or second job and worked at a grocery store? :he Thats a major rite of passage right there.

I know such people exist. How they exist I don't know. If something HUGE happened where people had to rely on basic skills....wow...it would become one large cull of the human race. And the rest of us would pick up from there I guess. More space for us? :idunno

Seriously though...we're really failing ourselves. We're dropping the ball in a huge way. Time to get our heads outta that sand and pick that ball back up. We can do it!:yesss: :woot

All I can say is she came from the city and claimed to be a country girl at heart but I think she has never experienced any country life at all and now I believe what they say about blonds are mostly true

I sort of look forward to that. I doubt it will happen though.

We've made so much "progress" as a human race that not only can the stupid and weak survive, we encourage and cater to it.

I guess saying that makes me sound like a misanthrope. I don't hate humans, I just don't like what we've "evolved" into.

I can't understand some people I was told that my farm fresh eggs were bad and that it was a travesty to butcher my Roos each year because you can buy chicken and eggs at a store that haven't been slaughtered and I had to just wonder what the heck has this young lady actually learned in school?
So I grilled out one day we had BBQ chicken with decked eggs and a nice cake. All made from the farm eggs and Roos. Would you believe she wouldn't eat any everyone else loved it but she said she wouldn't eat anything not mfg in a grocery store. I had to roll out laughing. Long story short she don't speak to me anymore. SMH

LMFAO whatttt!?

I can understand maybe being upset and butchering a roo you've cared for or they think you should be attached to but to be upset because you think meat is manufactured..... LMFAO WHAT EVEN.

Not just manufactured, but in a grocery store, no less! :th And, I suppose babies really do come from a cabbage patch.

Wait, she thinks that chicken meat from a store WASN'T slaughtered?:lau  Then where does it come from?

It's manufactured in the grocery store, silly. Sheesh. Some people don't know nuthin'. But, if we stick around and listen to the young, sophisticated city slickers, we might just learn a thing or two.

You know, maybe she's on to something. Making meat just might create more jobs and save the planet. You know, just making it in store and not having to truck it in. :rollseyes :lau

Don't you know, the cranes deliver babies!!

Eta: how do you do the eye roll?
