when i went to my boyfriends godmothers house she was talking about chickens and asked if i had ever seen a NN and i said
that i have and that my neighbor has one. well she started talking about them and she was like"they have a pouch and store
food in there like a kangaroo" and she was serious when she said it. haha i wanted to laugh, but of course i didnt do that she is to
sweet of a lady to do that and i couldn't come to tell her that she was wrong because i would just feel bad saying that you are wrong.
She was correct..she was thinking of a crop. Chickens do not have stomach's. They store food in the crop till it slowly digests.

And Kangaroos don't really go around stuffing grass and such into their pouches for storage. That would be pretty entertaining to see if they did though!

I had similar with a customer that would not take green shelled eggs cause they would be off. Nothing could convince him other wise lol
This has nothing to do with chickens and eggs, but I was in the cheese plant one day when two interesting customers came in. One man wanted some Swiss cheese but he didn't want any that was there because it all had holes in it. At the same time the one man was looking for some Swiss cheese without holes, this other gentleman came in and wanted some FRESH sharp cheddar cheese. He never would believe that in order to get sharp cheddar you have to age it six months to a year or more.
