Not really, not thats available. Maybe if you search really hard you can find someone who still has Khaki or Dun Sumatras to use. Dun patterned Phoenix would be the next thing but you're probably not going to find any of them. Boggy Bottom Bantams has a Khaki Duckwing Phoeinix pullet from Toni-Marie Astins stock but he will be using her to make more dun patterned birds an probably wont have anything from them to sale for a while. So the dun OEs are probably going to be the closest thing you can get in the dun color.

Boggy Bottom Bantams also has Blue Sumatra bantams if you dont have them already.

you could use chocolate (dun) polish

and get crested sumatras

What do you mean by "chocolate (dun)"?

Acutually you dont, if you are just wanting to breed the dun gene into the Sumatras then any quality birds that have the gene will do. I think if I were doing it I would acutally want to use lower quality OEs that would have lower tail sets since Sumatra tails dont really raise up, they just go straight out and down. And good quality OEGBs should have higher tails so I would say just order you some dun or fawn ducking OEGBs from Ideal and use them. The fawn duckwings are Dun by the way, they are Silver Duckwing with Dun instead of black.

They do not have Fawn duckwing OEGBs at ideal

I believe she means that like OEGBs, Dun Polish are also incorrectly called chocolate just becuase the colors are similar in appearance so she called them buy their common name but added the (dun) to show that it is really the dun gene and not true choc.

If chocolate Silkies exist, it would be better to use them as they are genetically closer to Sumatras.

I didnt think about that but that actually maybe true, I dont know where you would find Dun Silkies though, I'm pretty sure Sonoran Silkies has them but her sig says she doesnt sale eggs or chicks, maybe you can talk her out of a cull roo. But they do have dark skin like sumatras, the walnut combes are from Pea and Rose Combe genes so it shouldnt be hard to get back to pure pea combes, and since silky feathering is recessive, if you keep breeding to the Sumatras each time you shouldnt have any silkie feathered birds pop up. So that may work as well if you can find one too use.

OOOO! I thought you meant just fawn ducking wing and all i could find is fawn silver and fawn red, gotcha now. Should i use blue bantam sumatras or black? And these SHOULD be good quality right? Does anybody know of anybody who has what ever color i need? Thanks

Use Blacks. Duns and Blues sometimes can be hard enough to differnciate so I wouldnt use blues. I think the color of Platinum Sumatras is from both Dun and Blue Genes but I would use only blacks and make the duns first and then if wanted to do platinums you could do that later.

And Yep The Fawn Silvers are Silver Duckwings with Dun instead of black and the Fawn Reds are BBRed with Dun instead of black. But since they have the solid duns, which they call Chocolates https://secuservices.com/ideal/newideal/selectproduct.aspx?qty=1&ID=CHOEB&Product=96, those would be better to work with so you dont have to worry with leakage.

And no, hatchery OEs are usually lower quality, I saw a hatchery Black OEGB roo before that I wouldnt have recognized as an OEGB if the lady hadnt told me thats what he was.
