Durvet vitamins and probiotics is poison

I have cooked chicks in a tote with a 250W lamp.
Ducklings need less heat than chicks so if temps were the same, the ducks would die first.
Crowding near the heat means they are cold. Crowding away from the heat means they are hot.
If it was the Durvet, all I can say is 'all things in moderation'.
Healthy chicks only need chick starter, the supplements aren't necessary.
The necropsy is a great idea. That will tell you exactly why they died.
You just have to document the history to send them on the right path.

That would point to either poisoning or overheating.

I'll be interested to see necropsy results.

If it WAS the supplement, I wonder if they weren't especially thirsty and drank an excessive amount? Still seems unlikely.

They do look hot, and many pasty.

I'm curious. . .did you have a necropsy done? if so, what are the results? You are rightfully heartbroken and angry no matter the cause. I hope you are doing better now.
