I have some cinnamon queen chicks that are about a week and a half old and whenever one of them is placed on a towel, she starts to do a dust bathing motion. I have put a small dust bath in their brooder, but they won't get in it. Should I just keep the actual dust bath in there, or put a towel for her to practice the motion?

Nice video! I would leave the real dust bath in the brooder. They need to learn to be comfortable in real dirt, not just a towel! The dirt is what benefits them and keeps mites and such away. Very cute!

Thanks, they've started to check out the dust bath, I guess it'll just take some time for them to get used to.
