Hi everyone,
I don’t think this is an emergency or anything but my one rooster I’ve noticed for a while now has like a dusty/frosting/nude colour to end of his comb. He actually just did his first big boy crow the other day. Eating drinking moving around as usual. I have just never seen it before. He’s a mix breed almost 5 months old. Is that comb growth? I noticed it before any extreme cold set in and their coop isn’t drafty or similar to outside temps either

It appears to be minor frostbite development - in cold climates that is not uncommon, especially with roosters/cocks, and larger combed breeds. Ensuring you have plenty of ventilation in your coop to reduce moisture buildup can help lessen the chance of frostbite from occurring.

I will do my best to look into that, it’s just weird I noticed it when it was still mild temps outside. We just got below freezing this week and I took that photo last week.

@Isaac 0 if it is frostbite will it eventually turn black or stay this colour you think?

Usually, the tips turn white, then become necrotic and black in color. If you notice more and more of the comb becoming white, it's possible there is a fungal infection going on such as Favus, but at this point in time I would believe the discoloration due to cold weather, as you can note the tips are most affected.
