eagle eye/ i think she is slowly dieing!!! :-(

Well I gave her the bath and no egg. she doesn't look good either. I don't want to put her down tonight because she is still a little wet and I don't want to kill her when she is cold and wet. so tomorrow when I get home from school I will dig her a grave and put her in it. This will be my last post unless a miracle happens and she starts walking and/or looks a little better.

i wouldn't, it's not natural if she was suffering so much she didn't want to live then she wouldn't keep trying. it's better to let them die naturally. i know many people don't believe as i do on this matter, but i urge you to give her a little longer. she's still trying to live. there's always the chance she will still make it through this and it would be terrible if you didn't let her. it's best for her to die naturally, when she doesn't want to keep struggling any longer. she'll know when that is. i'm sorry that's just what i think.

Okay, I agree with TinyChicky I think I'll let her die naturally. Because if she really was in any big pain she would have died already. But if I'm going to help her live What should I give her? Keep giving her Gatorade and Yogurt? she only eats things through the baby dispenser.

have you tried worming her yet?

worms can also make a hen weak and have a slow recovery

you can search for posts on how to do it and its pretty easy

after that i would do an antibiotic maybe if she doesnt start bouncing back

other wise thats all i can think of =/

hope she gets better soon.

I do not agree with any more worming at this point. Purpletree23 has given you a great gift, may be the best way otherwise I think it may be time to stop all treatment and just make her comfortable and let her know how much you loved her, she can then die in peace, which is also a gift. good luck to you

i'm really glad you agree with me, rooster lover. do you know i wasn't able to sleep well last night worrying you wouldn't? i truly think she'll get better if you give her time. keep her comfortable and check on her often and i think she'll recover
