earliest layers?

Yhea, I like Gilbert and Nelly, they like to be by themselves but do get along with everyone else, I should start expecting eggs this spring, I usually get 6 eggs a week if your intrested in them for hatching.
p.s. They also like to do fly by's around my house because I live right next to the lake, and man it vibrates the whole place.

You know i do not know the regulations on them.. I live out in the country so i never really bothered to look. But i can do some research for ya and let ya know. Do you live in city limits?? That usually makes a big difference! I have all of mine in a huge aviary. But i have a quad that i'm going to be moving to a smaller pen for my breeding stock! My roo is gorgeous and my three hens are large and fat! I've got a light in there pen on for 14hrs and day and have them on a high protein diet. They should be laying any time now! I've got my incubator up and running so i can see how there fertility is going if they'd just give me some darn eggs!!! Ive seen mating so i know it will be soon i hope lol I'll do some research real fast and let ya know... ill pm ya

K Cool. Also Im expecting some silkies to hatch in the next week if your interested, It's weired...I got one silkie chick that had pink skin insted of the standard blue, and she is the sweetest little thing, tiny too.
But yes I do live in city limits, but my house was built in 78' and was deemed ag. land, but none of my neghbors care about my birds, heck, some of them were even interested in getting some birds! They dont mind the crowing, it reminds them of when they were kids growing up on the farm.
I also read a bit, and The regulations only apply to Texas native bird, so I think I can have Coturnix, so........

Just PM me if your interested. Nice meeting you!
