I’ll have to find new ones. They look more greenish blue now. So strange.

I can’t wait to show you guys pics of my 6 bantam EEs! I feel like I hit the straight run jackpot because I have 4 pullets and 2 cockerels. Their colors are gorgeous too! I got them from Dunlap Hatchery here in Idaho. They’re only a 45 minute drive from us. I’ll post photos tomorrow.

Here’s my 12 week old bantam Easter Eggers.

First up is Redwing. I could tell he was a cockerel very early on. He’s never shown any aggression and is a beautiful boy. I’m going to be keeping him.

Next is Sterling. I knew she was going to be gorgeous. She was the coolest looking silvery chick.

This girl is named Camo. I named her that because she would be completely camouflaged when standing in our rock covered flower beds.

The only chick I have without a beard is Biscotti. I named her that because her colors reminded me of those Italian cookies lol. Such a pretty girl.

My favorite little pullet is Magic. I just lover her charcoal and gold coloring! She reminds me of a black sand beach with fools gold sparkling on it. As a tiny chick she would come up to me and let me pick her up and look up into my face as I talked to her. She still does that but now she talks to me too.

Last but not least is my second cockerel Cookie. It took me a long time to tell that Cookie is a male. His comb still isn’t very big and he hasn’t crowed that I’m aware of. I figured it out because of his saddle feathers that are pretty obvious. I named him Cookie because his colors are like cookies & cream. He will probably go live with a friend who really likes his color. Especially the black beard. His tail isn’t looking the best cuz he just molted the big feathers.
