Easter Egger club!

questions. i have a standard silver duckwing ee hen, and a silver duckwing oegb rooster. how would the chicks end up? would they be bantam full size or something half way? and would the still lay a green/blue egg?
 
my 2nd largest egg a 2 yolker my largest was a 3 yolker but got excited and dropped it lol
A tripple yolker!?!? Ouch.. we've got 20 chickens. 3 of our hens just started laying and I've gotten 2 double yolkers so far..

Tweeners! In between in size and probably blue eggs.OEGB lay a cream or lightly tinted eggs so no olive eggs should show up.
 
I saw your post in the coop construction area. I love how it all came out. Glad to hear your flock is settling in nicely.


Thank you! Still adding some finishing touches but they seem to be adjusting to it well. I'm sure they aren't going to be pleased about staying in there a couple of weeks until they are acclimated.

We have a smaller coop they were in before this one was finished that I'm a little worried about them reverting back to when I start letting them free range again. We have our younger 6ish week old birds in there now. Those were meant for meat and were all supposed to be roosters but we have 5 cornish x, 2 barred rock roos and 1 pullet, and 2 Australorp pullets. We'll be keeping the 3 hens. So those 3 will be in the smaller one until they are old enough to defend themselves when I attempt to integrate them with my EE'S. So that works out pretty well.. I'm hoping we might get some bigger eggs out of those ladies because my EE'S are laying pretty small eggs.
