Easter Egger club!

Thats a very interesting cross. Bantam or full size brahma? I have a Buckeye X D'uccle rooster. Beautiful chicks by the way.

Full Sized Dark Brahma I am pretty sure, He's really a pretty bantam sized guy

I'm glad someone answered you...because i'm new to crossing too. Wish you were closer...i have 7 EE eggs in the bator and i'm sure i will have a boy or two i could give you :) I'm hoping for one frizzle feather female... i still have a pure silkie cockerel. These EE eggs should be very interesting :)

I do to, since I have half a dozen EE roos running around in my backyard.

When this chick came out of the egg, my first thought was Roo!

Now at 12 weeks old I am not sure.

The comb is wide but pretty flat with no indication of rows of peas.

It's dad is a true Wheaten Ameraucana and the mom is a blue colored EE.

No signs of pointy feathers or crow. I usually am lucky enough to hear a "crow" attempt anywhere from 4 - 8 weeks when I have a boy.
He/She was feasting on eggs.

Almost black with black lacing and no red or brown on wings, The tail gives me a little pause

What do you think?

I think I want this bird!! I am hoping Santa brings it to me today, his deliveries seem a little late here. I really like the looks of that bird, regardless of what sex it is, I want it!
