Easter Egger club!

Not the black one . The striped chick in front of the fresh sign . Silver is sometimes called grey in some breeds . Perhaps I misunderstood which chick you are calling grey . I can only tell on sex linked mating .
Awww, he is by far the smallest and different then the others. I was hoping pullet. At least I have a good home for the cutie

Ok, the chick in front of the fresh sign is 1/2 that has no secondary feathers. The rest do. Is that how you can tell? I'm sure there is a lot more to it.

That color is called blue (though it looks more grey). Yes your chicks will probably look like this coloring wise: (maybe a little darker though)
th
pretty! My favorite one seems to be a Cockerel

I have two more with grey. I'll be keeping them if they are pullets.

My broody hatched out 7 EE eggs with a EE Roo. The other eggs were GLW And a RIR. Anyways, 3 hatched out with grey on them. I haven't had any grey chicks before. If someone else has some experience with the grey chicks I'm curious will they keep some of the grey? here are a few pics. We have a lot of black/ brown chicks as well. I'm assuming my Roo has the dominant genes. Just curious about the grey. this is daddy
JUST SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to be keeping eggs over the next couple days to hatch. How many days can eggs be left set out and they still be hatchable when I put in the incubator? I'm hoping they can still be good up to about 7 days....?
