Easter Egger club!

Your ducks are a beautiful tan - what breed are they?  Are they good egg layers and do you have them sharing a coop/run with your chickens?  I decided against having ducks because almost every duck breed loves water and my yard is too small to set up a pool or pond - besides my dumb chickens would rather drink dirty water (like pond water or dirty container pot water) instead of the clean nipple valve waterers I have set up for them.  After a rain we have to go around the yard getting rid of container pot water.

my ducks are indiein runners. yes they do go with the chickens. Yeyyyyyy my ducks like dirty water to

my ducks I have one male and one female duck and she does not lay yet she is not even a yr. old yet so.

I did a little research and found a duck called a "Buff Orpington Duck" that was created by the same breeder that created the Buff Orpington chicken. Your duck pics don't look like Indian Runners but more like the Buff Duck but then there isn't a photo of your birds standing straight so I may be way off base. In any event your duck colors are gorgeous!

Hello everyone,
I haven't been here for ages, but the reason I'm writing is... if anyone recalls about a year ago or so I had written that I thought my EE quit laying, well she definitely quit laying her normal green eggs but I was 55% sure she was still laying some brown eggs instead, and I even ask if anyone knew if EE's could change their egg color. I was considering processing her, but she's such a beautiful and friendly bird I never did. Well on the 2nd of February, "SURPRISE" what is in the nesting box a nice blueish-green egg. And since then we have gotten 4 more, so my conclusion is EE's can change their egg color depending on the circumstances in their lives.
