Hi all!
3 mths ago I joined the Backyard chicken movement and my family and I are loving watching our chickens grow. We started with 3 EE pullets, a RIR and a Lavender Orphington. We lost the Lavender 2 weeks in. And now I am pretty sure 2 of our 3 EE are Roos! I am heading to get some new chicks tomorrow to replace the 2 we have lost and possibly trade off these Roos.
Before I look silly at the feed store am I crazy or are these in fact Roos? The guy on the phone was shocked that we got 2/3 Roos from what were suppose to have been pullets? My other EE pullet (white) has a very small light comb at same age? His response is making me second guess myself. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE HELP
Very think legs
Very Red combs
Agressive temperment (Flapping wings and kicking)
Irridescent tail feathers (only in tails)
Uneven tail feathers slight curve
Looks like they are getting pointed hackle feathers as well
Razar
Pebbles
the White pullet in corner is same age.
