Easter Egger with mohawk

I bought these 3 chicks at a feed store as “Amerancana Bantams” which I assume means they are Easter Eggers. But one has a mowhawk!

They are 4 weeks old. The comb on one of the gray ones looks more pronounced and pinkish, so maybe a cockerel? (The heat lamp is near in the photo casting a reddish light)

My main question is what Is the one with a mohawk? Breed or gender? It just looks so different from the other two. And I thought EE had rose combs so I’m wondering about the gray one with a comb coming in. I have a motley crew here!

It may be a crested cream Legbar cross but I doubt it. That hair is positively gorgeous

Ha ha!! Definitely doesn’t match the others. It’s super sweet. Even seems to have less feathers, so maybe younger? Pretty cute whatever it is!

Your chick with the mowhawk looks like a Golden Laced Polish to me, and possibly may be a cockerel with those wattles.
Your other two chicks are Easter Eggers, I'm thinking one pullet and one cockerel for them.

It does look like a polish. I have 2 legbar frizzles with Mohawks
